He is on the Advisory Board of the IAFE (International Association of Financial Engineers) and is co-head of the IAFE Credit Risk Committee.  For the last 18 years he has very actively worked on Basel issues as a member of several trade associations’ working groups, and was the North American co-chair of ISDA’s Risk Management Committee from the mid-1990’s until 2010.   He remains very active on ISDA and other trade association working groups.  For several years, until 2008, he was also on the board of directors of the IACPM (International Association of Credit Portfolio Managers)..
