Professor Li’s research interests include empirical corporate finance, executive compensation, corporate misreporting, capital structure, bankruptcy, and incentives. Her research has been published inJournal of Financial Economics,Review of Financial Studies, and other journals. Her paper in theReview of Financehas won the Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics, which was awarded for the best paper published in the journal. Her paper “on uncertainty, risk, and incentives” has recently won the TCFA Best Paper Award. Professor Li teaches corporate finance and advanced corporate finance at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and has received teaching excellence awards for many times.
