【Background Information】
As the global M&A market shows signs of resurgence after a long hiatus, one important new trend is the emergence of Chinese acquirers on the world stage. In the third of three lectures in the "2010 Doing the Deal Lecture Series" by international private equity law firm and Private Equity Institute sponsor Kirkland & Ellis, five Kirkland private equity lawyers will analyze key issues in outbound Chinese M&A deals, and particularly those involving acquisitions of US targets by Chinese acquirors.
Previous lectures in the 2010 series addressed minority investments in China and private equity fund formation, including the burgeoning RMB funds market. Attendees can attend each lecture as a stand-alone 'master-class' and together the three lectures comprise a short, focused course on private equity deals involving China
