Kelvin is the director of Greater China Research and chief representative of the Beijing Representative Officeof Goldman Sachs. He also serves as a member of the China Operating Committee and the Micro Research Operating Committee. In addition, Kelvin represents both China and Global Investment Research on the Asia Pacific Diversity Committee. Prior to assuming his current role in 2009, he was the director of China Research and head of the Energy Research team in Asia. Kelvin joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as a financial analyst in Hong Kong as part of the Asia Pacific Energy and Chemicals Research team. Since 1998, the team has earned top rankings from institutional investor polls, including Institutional Investor, Asiamoney and Greenwich Associates. Kelvin was named managingdirectorin 2007 and partner in 2010. Kelvin earned a bachelor’s of business administration from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA charterholder.
